Please mail us if a blog linked on milkboys is offline or if you have a blog and wish to be linked here (preferably about teenage boys and non-commercial). Please be advised that we don’t link blogs hosted at Blogger / Blogspot anymore due to their policy of deleting queer blogs.

Help us by watching Porn :p

Visit Helix Studios :)

As many of you know a lot of new milkboys-related projects (including a social network and a video site) are planned for the near future. Due to the high amount of concurrently visitors being on the different sites we already have we’re already operating at the bandwidth limit of our current server ‘tho. That’s why I’d like to buy a second server soon to host the new projects. At the moment we’re paying $300 per month for this server, the new one will add about $150 to the monthly bill.

If you want to help funding this and the new server you can do so by watching porn. Seriously ;) If you sign up at Helix Studios or one of their related sites with this link milkboys will earn a commission of $35. The cool thing about it is that one month (non-recurring!) there costs only $34.95 so we get every cent you spend and you get a month of porn for your donation :)

The Future of the Ephebo Blogsphere

What happened so far?

Some of you might have noticed that Nibblebit — which was the hope of all the bloggers who saw their blogs getting deleted by Blogger/Blogspot, Tumblr and even SensualWriter – started to reject blogs with even G-rated pictures of teenagers. Here is what happened: Someone filed a complaint about a blog hosted at Nibblebit which contained child porn (while that can be a fully dressed 17 year old in a “suggestive pose” nowadays) with Nibblebit’s hosting company which caused the latter to suspend Nibblebit’s server affecting not only the blog in question but all blogs hosted by Nibblebit. Nibblebit switched to another hosting company and while they were not able to recover the data of the old blogs most bloggers there restarted their blogs just to find out that Nibblebit doesn’t allow them to run boy-related blogs anymore.

I’m not sure if that leaves Nibblebit with any blogs at all since pretty much all of them where blogs about boys in one way or another. But however, personally I won’t miss Nibblebit: The service was always full of annoying ads and I even read quite a few reports about people who got a virus through the obviously not so well checked ads there. The more interesting question here is where the now homeless bloggers will end up. At least the ones who are not silly enough to try to open such blogs at Blogger/Blogspot over and over again will have to find a new place to host their blogs eventually. Read on...

Nibblebit

It looks like all blogs hosted on Nibblebit are gone for good. Here’s what they posted about the situation:

There seems to be some confusion. WE(NibbleBit) DID NOT remove any blogs. The company who hosts the NibbleBit servers recieved a complaint. The server was suspended. We have no access to the server or the backups. This is why the blogs are gone. We DO NOT condone child pornography. The hosting company recieved a complaint that NibbleBit was showing a blog, which they believe was showing child pornography. This is ILLEGAL and against our Terms Of Service. Due to this fact we are unable to recover backups. We will now keep daily backups offsite, with other providers to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We encourage visitors of blogs to report any innapropriate material using the report a blog page. Reports will be dealt with promptly. NibbleBit will now operate a ZERO tolerance on illegal materials, so please make sure that any adult content is 18 years +. For a limited time signups will recieve UNLIMITED BLOG SPACE.

UPDATE: I have removed all Nibblebit blogs from the link list in the sidebar which seem to be completely dead. If you’re the owner of one of them and planning to bring your blog back feel free to contact us once your blog is back up to get added back to the list.

Did you check out Skyclad Scribble lately? Because you should if you want to know how to surf the web anonymously for free, if you like Swedish cake or if you wanna see some cute photos from the Stockholm Pride :) See you there!

Nibblebit

I guess the guy running Nibblebit, a new blog hosting service running the WordPress multi user engine, was hoping for some free PR when he mailed me about his new service and the first blogs hosted there are popping up already, so here we go. Nibblebit is pretty much the same as WordPress.com as for the technical aspect. There are a few differences worth noticing ‘tho. For example: It allows “adult” content

The downsides? It’s clearly there to bring in cash. Nothing wrong with that of course but before you dump your current blog you should be aware of the fact that ads are shown on top of free blogs hosted at Nibblebit and some features are “Premium”, which means you have to pay for your account to get them. Besides that I have no clue who runs this, if their server is reliable, how long the whole project will live on and where they draw the line when it comes to deciding which content is really allowed there (their only statement on this is “it should be legal” – whatever that means). But if you feel like making a picture blog you might wanna give them a try.

Tried their service? Share your experiences in the comments. If you’re looking for a place for your personal blog you could also get one at milkblogs, just in case you prefer name.milkboys.org over name.nibblebit.com ;)

Summer of Neptune

Pink Neptune was by far my favourite blog on Tumblr and I know I’m not alone. That’s why I’m glad to be able to announce that we managed to lure StrawberriStars to milkboys to give her a safe home for her wonderful blog :)

Blog Spotlight *4

This blog is a somewhat innocent approach to the concept of boys. It’s not about tainted poses but cuteness. It’s hard to make such a blog nowadays without getting confronted with certain allegations due to the age of the boys or just the fact that the blog is hosted together with other blogs which focus on other aspects but it’s worth a try. Here’s the short description from the about page over there:  This is a my personal picture diary where I collect the cuteness of boys, kittens and other beings. It’s meant to be an innocent collection of joy and playfulness so enjoy your stay :)

True Blood

Just a quick random post that will disappear again very soon ;) milkboys is the project that I put the most time into but I also make 2 other blogs so if you don’t want to miss anything you should follow them too. There is Skyclad Scribble, my personal blog which I don’t only use for posts not related to boys but also for pictures of boys I don’t wanna post here because I want to avoid the discussion resulting of that (see the most recent post there for an example). And there is Count Candy which I use to post photos which are more… naughty than the ones here.

Blog Beat *2

+++ We are drooling over hot criminals +++ Ian (a.k.a. Moosh) wants you to ask him everything +++ Jake is happy about the reunion of some queer candies +++ Josh doesn’t feel so bad about spying on boys changing at the beach +++ Toxiiic makes live porn for milk monee +++ Will takes a bath in milk +++ Mirrorboy takes a break +++ Heartkore made a new painting +++ Sid gets attacked by Nazi Zombies +++ Joe destroyed the mythical New Zealand puma +++ Stormy can hear the voices +++

Blog Spotlight *3

The first guy who got his journal at milkblogs was Jake. He is quite an interesting person with some strange habits for you to discover. Sadly he’s too lazy to think of a few words about his blog so you have to check it out for yourself to see if you care enough to follow him through the (maybe not so?) tough life of a bisexual Aussie boy. Just don’t ask about his hair straightener, it’s a weak spot. So, enter Jake’s Home if you dare.
