Great. Flickr deleted my (paid!) account today. 700 photos; 1,000,000 views; thousands of comments and all my contacts are gone. Thanks a lot -__- I’ve asked them why the killed my account without any warning (unlike others I had not one single nude photo in my stream) but I doubt they’ll give me anything back just because I tell them they’re unfair ><
The good news is: I’ve made a backup of my flickr photos every month, the bad one is I haven’t the money to buy another account (My boyfriend and I need every cent to renovate and equip our new flat). So I have to find another way to host the photos. First I have to go through the blog and reupload all photos I’ve used here (they’re still on the Flickr server at the moment but I guess they won’t be there anymore soon). But where should I upload them? I definitely can’t handle the traffic which the photos would produce if I upload them on this server. But I don’t know any photo service which is more liberal than Flickr… any ideas?

Try imageshack.us - you can even upload anonymously without registering, and link direct to the image with no ads or anything (the last option on the long list of options)

Imageshack is faster with censoring pics without reason than flickr. And they don’t like high-traffic hotlinking.

Use zooomr.com or picasa.com. Phillip

Hello Josh,
I’m so sorry that flickr destroyed your account. What are these fools doing?! You had 1,000,000 hits, thousands of comments, beautiful photos. What insane standards are they applying? They are out of control.
I think it’s time for all the wrongfully deleted to take these people to a court of law to explain their actions, and refund all the money they’ve stolen from us.
Be Brave!

Hi Josh! Also check out largeimagehost.com. They allow mature content, hotlinking, and large bandwidth transfers. Another one is bayimg.com.
Don’t let the bastards wear you down. :-)

try shutterfly or photobucket. not the greatest, but they’re not bad.
