Today Charlie Crist, the republican governor of Florida, announced he is running for the US Senate. Supposedly several guys in this film talk about having sex with Crist, who married in the last year of so, at age 50+, for the first time. Aside from being closeted he is one of the more moderate republicans around today. It's likely he will get strong opposition from the right wing of the republican party but not overtly because he's gay. He's denied he's gay, and even found a "wife". But the right wingers, being the swell guys they are, will probably try to hint at his gay-ness in the primary. I also am very anxious to see this film.
