Log InI have to host milkboys on an own server since services like Blogger would kick content like this sooner or later. The hosting, traffic and domains for this and the other sites in the milkboys network costs about € 11 (= $ 16) per month. And the traffic will increase in the future with the new planned feautres. I could place ads on the blog but I would feel somehow dirty ><
If you want to donate a buck contact us at mail [at] milkboys.org (replace [at] with @) and let us know how much you want to donate and which (nick)name you want to have on the donations list. If you have PayPal you can also donate via Tipit.

My French is bad but as far as I see you have to pay there too if you need MySQL and Webspace. We would need at least the XL-Package which costs € 100.
Our server is hosted by Host Europe.

Wieso benutzt du für die Videos, die zu böse für YouTube sind nicht X-Tube oder wie auch immer sie alle heißen? Alternativ könntest du 1-klick-hoster benutzen und sie zum Download offerieren. Das wären zwei Optionen, die deinem Streben nach Perfektion sicher nicht gerecht werden, die aber definitiv günstiger wären…

Bei X-Tube und Co. werden Videos mit Leuten die irgendwer für minderhjährig halten könnte ja auch gern gelöscht und 1-Cklick-Hoster sind einfach unglaublich unbequem für beide Seiten.
(Ihr fahrt erst morgen zur Buchmesse oder? Wie haben schon seit mindestens ner Woche nicht mehr telefoniert ;__;)

Na dann werde ich dir später in einer Mail schreiben wo du unlimit Space, unlimet Traffic, 5 Datenbanken, PHP kostenlos werbefrei bekommst. Dann hast du nur noch den lächerlichen Euro für die Domain an Kosten. Ich hab die Daten nur auf dem Notebook und das liegt bei Erik. Werds aber im Lauf des Tages nachholen.
Sollte ich es vergessen, erinnere mich dran :-)))))

@Josh: Mecker nich, ruf halt einfach an. Ich habe auch schon seit über einer Woche nichts mehr gepostet, aber ich habe einige Entwürfe auf meinem Computer. Stay tuned. Und zur Buchmesse fahren wir gar nicht. Spontaner Entschluss dagegen.

I host http://www.delftboys.com a homo erotic art website (also inludes http://www.queerart.nl and http://www.homowebmuseum.nl). Have been in similar trouble a lot in the past :
also been thrown out of paypal for merchandise that was illegal in their opinion (not in any way illegal under Dutch law) .
My servers are based in Holland and or Denmark and I pay € 1,- a month there for 1 g of content with unlimited traffic, as long as their servers don’t fry.
I’m having a payed subscription now for access to (very) high resolution artwork (and a lot too). That revenue goes into a Dutch foundation dedicated to promote and support homo erotic art(ists).
I’m willing to support your site as sponsor too from that fund. Will write to your e-mail adress above. As I don’t have paypal, I will seek other ways to transfer funds.

i don’t know exactly how it works but there is google ad or something like that it’s cald. when you put a bannaer from google on your page when you are registerd for it you get money for every time someone cliks on it so maybe you can get some money by doing that

The price sounds good, I’m just reading a few reviews about them. Their FTP seems to suck and some people say you’ll get suspended if you reach a daily limit of hits .__.

habt ihr am postambt keine postbox die du fur ne monat mieten kannst und dann eine monat jeden tag geld fragen dannn hast du fast alle lesr bereicht und die konnen einfach geldscheine in post schicken das ist bequemer fur viele leute und ich weiss aus erfahrung das mannn das eher macht als paypal oder was weisss ich. Zieh nicht zuviel um aufs netz dda haken viele ab.good luck 2 u .

How is the economy for the blog looking? Seems to be more than 300 € in donations; if it costs 11 € a month, that should be enough to keep the blog alive for… 2 more years (+less than one year (?) so far)? Or are there other expenses?

We have to upgrade to a more expensive hosting package soon since we got more visitors everyday and we’re planning to realize some new features during this year which will make a lot of traffic.

Have you looked at thumblogger.com? Their whole point is “X” rated stuff and claim to be free. They do not mind adds either, since many of the blogs are basically ads for paysites. However Noodle.thumblogger.com is a good example of a noncommerical site working there.
