Milk minus Boys? [Update]
Hi folks. There is some stuff I’d love to post but I’m not sure if it would be a good idea. I’m talking about some off-topic & nerdy things like rants about politics, strange photos, beautiful artworks without boys et cetera. Instead of posting it here I could make an own tiny blog for stuff like that in case you want me to keep the things clear and on-topic (=boys) here. I let you decide; I have no preference about this.
UPDATE: Ok, thank you all for the votes and the comments. You’re right, I should do with the blog what I want to do, not what I think people would expect. So that’s what we get: I’ll post the dispensable stuff (cute pictures, street art etc.) on a new blog and don’t care if nobody sees it while I post the important things (politics) here from time to time.

I would apprechiate more text and less boys here. Boys can still remain the major part and justify the title of your blog, Josh. But why not ennoble milkboys by getting more politically and artificially.
You have a message to spread and should not be satisfied with distributing porn as your kind cologne based hoster accused you to and I would love to see you doing it. ♥

There are plenty of sites packed wall-to-wall with homoerotica, and they always seem rather insubstantial. One of the first things that drew me to Milkboys, way back in October, was that it was more than just a stash of delectable photographs: Josh shared a little of his tastes in music and the arts with us, and demonstrated that worshipping the beauty of boys has a political context – there’s more than one dimension to this blog, which makes it far richer, more unique, and more rewarding to read (in my opinion at least).
So I voted “yes” to more off-topic content, and agree with Soja that a proliferation of text would not be a bad thing. Apart from anything else, it’s an excellent opportunity to practise my German für die Schule, while having “fun” at the same time…

If you can relate somehow the post to the principal topic, it might be. Providing that you leave the first place of the day to our obsession… If would not be able, another blog would be preferable…

Screw the Readers. Do whatever you feel like. You dont get paid by the click and as long as there is enough cuties to look at, they’ll all come back. the audience usually is quite dumb, afraid of new things and will reject changes at first. whether its a new theme or a new topic or style. fuck ‘em. I’d welcome more non sexual content. ppl will get used to it… if you put the serious content aside in new blog no one will see it… even some ppl who might be interested. good content is like good sex, sometimes you habe shove it down their throat *snigger*.

Josh, Personally I’ve always thought that the two subjects of sex and politics simply don’t mix. Both our blogs audience have hungry eyes for a pretty picture. It’s what they have come to expect. Putting out a great chunk of text, and most times they don’t really want to know.
For me though I am more fascinated by human nature, as posting items about human observations and political and artistic thoughts can often feel more rewarding. And it’s only because my blog (WESTASIAN) has been going through a long drought with regards to feedback and any incoming comments that I came to realize this. Oh sure lots of eyes have been going over my pictures, as my statistics have indicated.
My same viewing audience is still there, as I can tell from my visiting map. it’s just that they choose not to take part anymore. So I’m not so sure that a pretty image can create as much feedback as thoughts.
But of course you must do what you think is best. My only worry is that you might not put up your new efforts in English text.

hey I just started looking at this site and really like it, as a new comer I think it would be great in addition to the pics/topics but maybe instead of it being the main part of he site you could put it in the side bar.
