Wahrlich nicht sein lustigster Beitrag zur satarisch ausschweifenden Rezeption unserer unsäglichen Popkultur aber da es thematisch halbwegs gut passte und weil ich Oscar Wilde so abgöttisch liebe kam ich nicht umhin euch an diesem Stück teilhaben zu lassen. Erschienen sind die oben zu verkonsumierenden Auslassungen auf diesem Hörbuch, empfehlen kann ich desweiteren dieses hier.

Wow! Even though my father only spoke German until he was six years old and my Grandmother spoke German, I only know a few words. I put that through two translator sites and neither of them made sense. We were not taught German because of two wars. I am a second generation American/Austrian and I know more español than Deutsch.

Was a bit difficult to get the meaning of it but I guess I understand why you added it to your blog. Thanks. By the way: I like Oscar Wilde as you do. Maybe it’s a good idea to add a small piece of his texts to your blog now and then. Would love to read it. And it could add a new aspect to your blog. Of course, there are also quite a few other authors out there who have written prosa or poems that are belonging to us, like e.g. Thomas Mann and John Henry Mackay and many more…

I guess it’s hard to translate even if you learnt German in school… That’s the (only) cool aspect of our Language: It’s as easy as pie to speak totally obverblown ;o)
