The governments of Sweden and Germany knew how to use the fact that many people in Europe don’t care about politics these days because they’re busy watching football: They passed some Nazilaws.

Now it’s illegal to produce, show, obtain etc. sexually explicit material showing teenagers between 14 and 18. One more step into the ass of the USA.

Swedish authorities are now allowed to wiretap every mail, phone call, instant message etc. leaving the country. Without any suspicion nota bene.

I hope it won’t affect us but to be sure we moved from a German to an US server – at least you’re allowed to post ART here. At long sight we’re looking for a server in Russia or Denmark.

@Josh: But hopefully you don’t post those -soon illegal- pics from Germany since it would be still forbidden. You would act in this country even if the upload is to the other end of the world. trust me and don’t tell me you haven’t been warned.
Let’s imagine you log onto your us server and copy a pic from a danish server on your blog without having it on your own PC. well. even then I am sure it is illegal since you are doing the act while sitting in germany. you publish the pic on your server while sitting in germany. point.
So I am happy to imagine you have a U.S. or danish friend who puts the pics in your posts :-) and there are no logs on the server and you only use secure VPN connections :-)
this law is ridicilous. It just took under 5 minutes to pass it although the two experts strongly disencouraged to pass the new pornography law just the other changes.

Hmmm welcome to Amerika! The sociopathic Bush misadministration influences the world now. Its ok to send other peoples children off to die ugly deaths in a war built on greed and lies, but to view a naturism photo, communicate privately, have a thought, or express yourself in a way considered unpatriotic or outside the tenets of the intolerant Religous Rights Moral Majority will not be allowed!
The cheats, liars and sneakthieves that now squat in the Whitehouse desire to rule the world. Bush: “You are either with us or against us”. Its simple really.. if they want it, they’ll take it. You dont like it? They’ll kill you and then take it!
Cheney’s mission is to have the worlds governments fall in total lockstep with the U.S. The fact that both Bush and Cheney are too stupid to read a grade school lesson book was solved by hiring of the Mad Scientist Karl Rove, the wind-up doll whore Condi Rice and the totally incompetent Rumsfeld. Scandel after scandel, lies to cover up lies etc.
In the U.S. the government runs the media, you hear only what they want you to hear. The “chicken in every Amerikan pot” was sold years ago to the highest corperate bidder. Money rules everything. The justice system is a cruel joke. Individual freedoms and rights are trampled on daily while the government breaks every law in the constitution and then impedes any investigation by breaking more laws.

I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to post sexually explicit material of anyone under the age of 18 in the United States. You might have some difficulties with your US server because the fine line between what’s art and what’s not is often misunderstood.

This worldwide nazism of the Bushite’s who run the media and the corporate world government started with the election of Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan, who was only acting the role of President, was a puppet of the George H. W. Bush bunch. Of course his stupid son, W is just a cardboard cowboy doing the bidding of the elder Bush’s bunch. I have always looked to Europe as a beacon of progressive thinking. How unfortunate that they are now regressing.
This November, I will vote for Barack Obama. I think I will vote for him ten times. I do live in Florida after all, the home of voter fraud.

i think that we can kiss most of our freedoms goodbye and that the future will be even yet worse than it is today.
even on a blog like dennis cooper runs a lot of the comments are very repressive and they get super sensitive if anyone calls this to their attention. the few that make any call for real freedom there get pushed aside in a barrage of “newspeak” blabber.
the fact seems to be that there is very little thinking going on today that leads to MORE freedom. the gays in particular since the 1970s have lost their edge and have been co opted into the status quo. they think the most radical thing they can wish for is to get married!!! sheeeeeesh!!!
