Now that’s amazing! Our very own Zensursula (Ursula von der Leyen, German Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and infamous amongst the German public for her desperate try to censor the internet) has indexed the new Rammstein album “Liebe is für alle da” (Love is for everyone), meaning that the album cannot be sold to minors and cannot be stocked on store shelves. The album will now only be made available for purchase behind the counter at shops that still carry the CD. Word is that the tracks "Ich tu dir weh" and "Pussy" along with some promotional imagery featuring guitarist Richard Kruspe spanking a female were cause of the ban.
“Ich tu dir weh” is a song about S/M and the joys of giving and receiving pain for sexual sensation (find the song above and the lyrics (German & English) here) and the title “Pussy”, which was banned because it apparently advocates unsafe sex in the times of AIDS is in actual fact a song against sex tourism in third world countries. Some politicians obviously still think teenagers need Rock Music to hear about the evil force called sex. Oh, well…
Go, buy the album! It’s fucking amazing anyways!

Yes, I can stage “Faust” ( Marlowe ) to any audience I want ( the sexual bits pass right through the censors’ heads ). In a contary vein, I pulled my disc of “The Art of the Bawdy Song” ( The Baltimore Consort & The Merry Companions ) to stare at the “Parental Advisory/Explicit Lyrics” label that so astonished me when I first saw it that it was neatly peeled from the celophane and affixed to the jewel case… mg! Some of those lyrics where set to music as arranged by Henry Purcell in his capacity as Master of the King’s Musik!
Now, shall I transliterate the lyrics to “Ode to Tipper Gore” ( Warrant ) to fit the case at hand? ( search for the song on YouTube and there will be tapes excerpted from the relevant US misgovenment hearings ).
We cannot evolve if we remain in the past. Read “Also Sprach Zarathustra” one more – and weep, for now ;-\

I remember when the band Point Blank had a song “Great White Line”. The lyrics simply said … The great white line goes on forever”… so dont start. It told all the things in your life you will lose; your lover, etc… There were Christian groups banning the album to their kids because they said the song *promoted* drugs.
The same for Harry Potter. Some Christians groups ban Harry because of the witchcraft, but had they watched, they would have seen that the power for the witchcraft comes from the same source. But what about Star Wars? That movie also had a hocus pokus power that came from the SAME power source that you can use to take your life in a positive or negative direction.
And what about this Jesus fella most of these groups profess to follow? He talked about a power source you could tap into and use to take your life in a positive or negative direction. The Water of Life, the Spirit, the Source. Remember the “Seed” that you plant in your heart but could grow you into a righteous or bad person… the *same seed*? I believe that’s what it says! Isn’t that funny? Jesus taught to seek the Source, and the dunderheads at the time just start worshiping *him*, and never go to seek the source he was talking about. And no, he was not the source… STOP PARAPHRASING! (I’m ok)
Are Harry Potter, Jesus and Star Wars trying to give the same message? That we are have the same abilities and can tap into the same source and are in charge of how we use our lives? What a concept ;) !!!
* Do people constantly miss the point of the teachings they profess to follow? That would be a “Big Damn Duh”!
* Do people really follow what their groups tell them to do without viewing the documentation and judging for them selves? That would be an Affirmative, Sir!
* Do people really go out into the streets and march against Gay Marriage even though homosexuality is rampant in their bible? Take sex out of the bible and you can downsize the book by 50%.
Yes Virginia, people really do ban and condemn and judge others and hate and try to control others in the name of the teachings they don’t understand and never will, because most people are sheep and refuse to be bothered with researching the accusations their leaders tell them. We don’t need the Reptilians as a killer race, Humans ARE the killer race. Just look what we do to each other.
