Joe’s a nice kid give him a break. He can be anything he wants. Personally I think he’s ‘very’ brave for sharing so much of his personal static with all us gleefully leering Queers, and assorted perverts.
Sort of sad, IMO…Gay supersedes everything else about a person, while straight doesn’t. That kid might have a lot of other things going on in his life, and other things he’s interested in and good at, but now he’s labeled as some sort of “Gay Emo”…and at a really young age…too bad.
I found this site yesterday, through an international website for people with specific interests . . .. I would have signed up as a “member” yesterday, except for the fact that I was so impressed with the quality and diversity of the site that I actually fell asleep after 7 hours online [trying to read all the historical posts]. Josh - if you’re “the man,” please keep doing whatever you’re doing - I think it’s great!!!!!
In a direct response to the question, I think that:
Joe is an adorable young man; intelligent, confident and definitely in tune with himself; however, Joe can yet be instructed to hate himself, as is made clear in this video.
Joe is about 15 years old, if his earlier videos are accurate - so, Joe is on the slow side of boys reaching physical maturity. Many boys Joe’s age have secondary sex characteristics which Joe does not demonstrate, such as a deepening voice, broadening shoulders, increasing musculature in the neck and the obvious growth of hair in the amrpits and on the lower chestl. Joe’s late development cannot be misconstrued as a definitive sign that he is gay; moreover, it cannot be construed as anything!!!
On the other hand, Joe is clearly of above average intelligence, possessive of larger balls than most of the rest of us, and obviously of superior creativity and artistic confidence than hardly any of us would dare to obtain . . ..
I’m quite saddened by Joe’s obvious distress at his failure to “appear straight,” since Joe’s primary audiences on YouTube must be those interested in a smart, beautiful kid, gay-friendly no doubt, a young teenager who epitomizes that which we all wished we could be back in the day, I must say that I hope he’s pulling a tongue-in-cheek rebuttal to all of us who were ‘chicken’ when it was our time to “come out.”
I think that all of us who’ve struggled to come to terms with what it might mean to be ‘gay’ in our own culture owe Joe a debt of gratitude for being “out” when he really didn’t have to be out. Joe shows us that we can be whoever we really are, without all the readily available stereotypes, just by talking into his webcam. Joe’s obvious command of the language and his heretofore demonstrated confidence in presenting his views should always override his poor performance in this video. Joe has shown us that that ever elusive higher realm is always available to us - that’s why we want so desperately to claim him. Guess what: Joe may be gay, he may be bi, or he may be straight, but whatever we all want, Joe, if he can stay on top, will always be that which we can all aspire to be - free and flying above all this bullshit we create for ourselves, a beautiful, intelligent icon of freedom in our small world of fantasy happiness.

Joe, it doesn’t matter to me whether you’re straight / bi / gay, because you’re bold, funny, innovative, and refreshingly intelligent. You’ve got a fantastic smile, I love your (to an American) accent, you’re drop-dead cute, and apparently believe in just figuring shit out and having a great time doing so.

Joe can annoy me from time to time with his sociopathic abandon but his partner is too adorable for words he reminds me of L from DeathNote and Edward from Twilight both at the same time
so i see this is quite an old post….but joe says it himself multiple times that he is bi…with more homosexual tendencies…and he has never said that he wanted to change his appearances… joe is very happy and comforatable with himself….as we all should be…we need to be more outspoken and open…maybe there would be less hate in this world if we all stopped hating ourselves.
