God Jul!

I am in the final stages of completing a novel based on my first childhood love. It is a comming of age story of Byron and Shayne. Byron is a lonely, withdrawn but talented distance runner who comes from an abusive alcoholic family. Shayne, who is the main character, is an extraordinarily gifted ballet dancer who is also gay and comes from a very stable and loving family. In spite of their many differences, including sexual orientation, the two become extremely close friends. During the Labor Day week of 1961 and in a magical place called Melones Canyon, they share their fears and their secrets and learn so much from each other. They form a strong and unbreakable bond between them. It was a weekend that marked a turning point in each of their lives.

If my humble attempt at a novel were to be made into a movie, this kid could so easily fit into the character of Shayne as I discribed him in every detail. This is so beautiful. It really did bring me to tears.

I find myself watching this over and over again. Words cannot say how much it means to me. Where can I find other photos and videos of this beautiful boy? He is such a treasure. What is his name? I would love to place him on the cover jacket of my novel. Josh, you truely out did yourself on this one. He is the spitting image of my first love. I cannot say enough. Thank you.
