Then on alternating weeks an enactment from almost any page of *Hogg* by Samuel R. Delany. That book is narrated by an 11 year old boy who is a willing & eager participant in some of the greatest sex scenes I have ever read dealing with his relationship with an older man. It is my favourite book exactly for the reasons that Delany has stated about it. Here's just one: “Among the tasks the novel attempts is to mark out a discursive field in which, by the end, the reader can no longer even say the words ‘normal’ and ‘abnormal’ without putting them in quotation marks, ironizing them, or somehow or other placing them sous rature.” -Samuel R.
