    Why apologize? Gay-bashing is a fact in this world. Remember Matthew Sheppard, the college kid from Laramie, Wyoming, who was tied to a fence, pistol-whipped and left for dead? All because he was gay. He died a few days later in the hospital. We need to be reminded of these horrible atrocities every now and then. It’s a reality-check. If you hadn’t posted this, I would have never heard about it. Thank you, Josh, for posting and sharing.

    I posted this in a myspace bulletin. I asked my freinds to repost this and spread the awareness of what is really going on. This boy had the courage to do something I always wanted to do. I commend him for that. I hope where ever he is he is happy and accepted for who he is.

    I’m with everyone else on this. This moving video should be seen worldwide, and seen and seen again. And here in the UK, let’s also remember Hamzeh, the 19-year-old Iranian gay boy who’s in danger of being deported to his home country - where, just like his young lover already, he’ll be executed.

    I agree with the rest here. I would never have known about this had I not seen it on your blog Josh. Yes, it made me sad, but we cannot close our eyes and pretend these horrible things don’t happen. Thank you for posting. (And thanks Ellen)
