ACTA – Filesharing worse then Murder?

The United States, the European Community, Japan and other states are secretly negotiating an agreement to revamp international copyright laws that would allow wannabe-cops of the contentmafia to check your laptops, MP3-players etc. whenever they want and to get your data from your internet provider without a warrant! These hypocrites don’t even think it’s necessary to inform us, the people about their plans, that’s what they call democracy! Nice too: Let’s say they check your laptop on an airport and find some music on it… guess what? YOU have to prove it’s a legal copy! So be ready to take your CD collection with you on every trip. And we’re talking only about music and movies, just imagine what will happen if they find photos of teenage boys..

Sounds pretty shady. . . But you know what it will do ?
It will create a black market for intellectual property.
It’s sort of like trying to make smoking or alcohol illegal…
You just invite the bootleggers. Endangering public safety.
Bizarre, imo. It’s already much to late to stop piracy.
We’ve all become much too addicted to it by now.

Even our own British Government is considering a move to record every e-mail and every phone call.
Apparently due to the threat of terrorism. What next? Cameras hidden in our plasma tv’s to keep an eye
on the Nation! Whoops! I musn’t give them ideas.

That sucks. How else could you prove that you own the music? I know a lot of my music isn’t exactly, well, bought, so I may have to go travelling without any music at all (yikes!). Any protests?

Sure Deejohn, they say its due to the threat of terrorism and after spending trillions of US dollars they still haven’t found bin Laden. This is a huge joke and it is on us.
What they won’t tell you is that far more important to them is the wish to control our sexuality from cradle to grave and they are using this as a ruse to enforce a right-wing moral agenda. All over the world the NGOs have become puppets of fascism.
And of course this is fascism, and when it is brought up on even progressive blogs like DC’s, they claim it is an “overheated” reaction. They think what they do is “art” and thus exempt. An art that has no grounding in reality is schizophrenic I am sorry to say.
This blog is one of the last left willing to fight back even if only by “yea-saying”.

The US has long been trying to show of an application of copyright… and “statutory” rights in america….but to tell you a secret… its just a way to try and open the door to (atleast in america:) illegal search and seizure…..
this is all the effect of technology moving faster than the governments can move to control it… the governments of the world are now afraid of losing power…. thats why the bullshit issues are springing up…… the interweb 2.0 no longer requires for an overseeing factor…. and those in power are afraid of that….
The governments have been made under the ideas that the nature of humynity needs to be controlled and done so by fear…. the interweb is starting to destroy that control that they have established…. and this is another attempt by those in power to maintain power….
power seeks to maintain power… just as a addict wants to keep their high

Ah the Nazi party was fascist, but yeah it’s all about the politics of fear. Give up your rights so we can protect you ?!
Will we see a time when corporate power superceeds governements? As for piracy China produces the most bootleg copies of well everything, so lay off the guys with laptops in the airport with a few dozen downloaded songs!
Oh and Bin Laden was a CIA operative back when he was fighting the russians in Afghanistan, maybe not finding him is the plan.

Wake up, people! The multi-national corporations already control the nations. The New World Order (NWO) is upon us, and we have no way to stop it. I used to think the NWO conspiracies were all bunk until all these new laws started to take effect. It is time for the citizens to get off their collective fat (Europe and Asia are surpassing the USA in obesity) asses and get involved! Vote, and attend town meetings to bring up these topics.

This CCTV one is just off Oxford Street here in London – what the picture doesn’t show is the huge CCTV camera just to the right…
